Meet Clifford.

He’s diseased.

Kaidlyn’s new costar for Bait and Bleed received a brief mention as her trainer in book two, but now he comes to the forefront. Like most guys in Kaidlyn’s world, he has a high degree of physicality.

In other words, he’s hot.

Because I can objectify men if I want. It’s my book, so there!

Clifford mentally represents the place where Kaidlyn started her journey. He wants to mind his own business, ignore the dynamic of the agitated wolf population, and pretend he can live his life unaffected by the disease.

Of course, he can’t. No one can avoid the coming war, which he soon discovers.
