Gratuitous Violence

I’ve been thinking a lot about the content of my book, especially because this may be my most violent work to date and my mommy might see it. I’m not trying to glorify violence, but I do want to say this:

All of the monstrous violence in this book is derived from real-life situations and studies I’ve done.

So when the monsters are doing monstrous things, I’d like to put this idea out there: if it is so bad, maybe humans should stop doing it to each other.

Just a notion.
