Busy Little Bee
I’m pushing myself toward a productive year, which means taking on my list of multiple projects in quick succession. Except I’m trying to avoid the burnout that comes from working on something so long you want to bash your head in with it. So here’s the rotation plan:
Write Book 1 raw draft, then set it aside.
Write Book 2 raw draft, and then set it aside.
Edit Book 1, creating Rough draft.
Write Book 3, raw draft, and set it aside.
Edit Book 2, creating Rough draft.
Finish Proof for Book 1 and finalize publishing.
Write Book 4, raw draft, and leave it alone. Do not go back to Book 3 even though they’re in the same trilogy.
Finish Book 2 proof and finalize publishing.
Write Book 5, the Raw draft and then set it aside.
Edit Book 3, creating Rough draft.
Edit Book 4, creating Rough draft.
Edit Book 5, creating Rough draft.
Write Book 6, raw, opening a new trilogy, and then set it aside, because …
Book 3, 4, and 5 need to be polished and published at the rate of one a month.
So if you never see me again, you know what I’m up to.
